JACKSONVILLE, FLORIDA (JANUARY 17, 2012) – Adamec Harley-Davidson of Jacksonville announced today that it will take over ownership and management of the Harley-Davidson Retail Store on St. George Street in downtown St. Augustine, effective February 1, 2012. The store will be operated as Adamec Harley-Davidson of St. Augustine. This action is the result of the closing, in cooperation with Harley’s dealer consolidation program, of the former Harley-Davidson of St. Augustine (HDSA) dealership which had previously owned and operated the store prior to its closing. Additionally, in cooperation with the former owners of HDSA, Clark Vitulli and Allen Good, Adamec Harley-Davidson’s three stores in Jacksonville and Orange Park will honor the “pre-paid maintenance plans purchased by HDSA VIP customers, as well as, serve as the redemption dealership for any outstanding HDSA Gift Cards.
