Engine & Power

Available at Harley-Davidson® motorcycle dealers in Florida, the new Superlow 1200T, which has a starting price of $11,799, is equipped with Harley®’s Evolution engine, which was first used to power an H-D® motorcycle in 1984. This particular engine is known in certain crowds as the Blockhead and derives from the legendary Shovelhead and Ironhead engines. The Evolution, which broke new ground in displacement innovation, is known for its thirst for power, durability and reliability. (2)

When equipped with the new 2015 Harley-Davidson® Sportster Superlow 1200T, the air-cooled and ultra durable 1200cc Evolution V-Twin engine will push 70.8 pound-feet of torque at 3,500 rpm and offer up an estimated fuel economy rating of 48 miles per gallon (combined city/highway). (2)

Technology

Other features to appreciate on Harley®’s new Superlow 1200T include a new Wrinkle Black Console with speedometer, tachometer and gear indicator as well as ergonomic hand controls for a more intuitive, fluid and effortless feeling. (2)
