Consider Visiting the Harley-Davidson® Museum this Summer

With summer just around the corner, it will soon be the perfect time to visit Harley®’s museum in Milwaukee — not just for the 450-plus motorcycles and artifacts (1) — but also for the bike maker’s Legendary Experiences tours featuring first-class hotel and dining accommodations, VIP exhibit access and so much more. (2)

If you haven’t already heard about it, then we’re telling you now: the iconic American motorcycle manufacturer is offering two incredible — once-in-a-lifetime — signature H-D® events: the Dream Experience and the Legends & Lakes Road Tour. It’s available for both for riders and non-riders, so don’t miss out. (2)

Dream Experience

In a nutshell, this tour offers museum privileges and includes visits to landmark H-D® locations in Milwaukee. The fun begins on Wednesday, June 10, 2015 (to Saturday, June 13, 2015), and it includes lunch, a museum tour with Bill Davidson (3) — both the grandson of Harley-Davidson® founder William A. Davidson and the vice president of the museum — and a private cooking class with Chef Josh from Motor Bar & Restaurant. What’s more, you can also enjoy a Steel Toe Tour of Harley®’s powertrain operations, lunch with the motorcycle maker’s engineers, and why not end the day at the top-notch Iron Horse Hotel? If you can’t make it this summer, there’s also an October 14-17 option in the fall. (2)

Legends & Lakes Road Tour

As of Sunday, August 30th, the second of two H-D® tours kicks off at the Henry Ford Museum in Dearborn Michigan and ends on Friday, September 4th at the Harley-Davidson® museum in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. You’ll be a part of a motorcycle tour that takes you on a picturesque journey along Lake Michigan, stopping ever so often to visit unique Midwest destinations — enjoying a catered dinner overlooking Muskegon Lake and a private BBQ on the beach of Lake Huron — for example. (4) And as a bonus, the six-day event includes the presence of Bill Davidson, in case you missed him during the Dream Experience. (2)

You’ll be invited to a VIP reception and party on Patio 13 and the 1903 Bridge, and you’ll end your final night at the Iron Horse Hotel. Plus, you get a private viewing of the Willie G. Davidson special exhibit, and you can enjoy Bike Night and the beginning of the Milwaukee Rally and Custom Bike Show weekend. (4)
